The restaurant was clean with a decent amount of seating. Good place to get shawarmas for sure! Definitely 4/5 food wise for now as I've only had a few of the items on their menu. If you've watched their social media videos, you will find the theme and overall comedy really funny! Definitely recommend this place to other!
Shelby's Legendary Shawarma in Ajax is a great place, the atmosphere is inviting the food is incredible. Must try the Halloumi Sticks ( fried cheese ) with spicy garlic sauce. All ingredients are freshly made and cooked.
I ordered food today for $50. I got one chicken wrap and two Bowls. Barely any rice or meat. And they didn't even put Fattoush salad. Very disappointing to say. I have been to other middle eastern establishments and they fill up the plate with enough meat/salad and Rice. This is just disappointing. UPDATE: I was able to speak to the manager and owner and received my money back for one bowl. I am still disappointed but I hope they will improve their service and food! I wish the establishment could have handled the situation better or compensate for the time wasted going back and forth.
We ordered the Legendary Traditional Beef/Lamb Shawarma Wrap, Legendary Chicken Shawarma Wrap, stuffed grape leaves, and cheese & zaatar manakish. The beef shawarma was solid!! but a bit oily, which not everyone might enjoy. The chicken shawarma, though, was a letdown. Something was off, maybe it wasn't marinated well or was overcooked. The shawarma wraps here are definitely smaller compared to Tahini's. The staff here were super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Even though the food wasn't perfect, I still appreciated how well they treated customers. If I go back, I'll probably stick to the beef shawarma.

Staff seemed more focused on chatting among themselves than assisting customers, and I had to wait longer than expected to get answers to simple questions. Overall, a disappointing experience in terms of both value and customer service. The wrap was very small but the bowl was a decent size.
An absolutely great experience ordering food from Shelby’s. The restaurant space is delightfully bright and clean and spacious. Easy to order menu (in person or on-screen). Love the options. Food is delicious. Price is decent. Would definitely return and order again:)
Ordered the chicken shawarma from Shelby – it tasted great! The pickles were crisp, and the balance between the meat and veggies was spot on. Would definitely recommend!!
Brief, the atmosphere was relaxing. Service was very friendly and quick. Finally, the shelby’s shawarma tasted like a real middle eastern. I came all the way from Québec to make it happen. Must visit place!!!!
